![]() ![]() The Witchburn set, was obviously well rehearsed, mistake free and 100% professional from beginning to end. Once again the crowd at El Corazon was large, and I was very impressed with the songwriting, playing ability and audience reaction. I saw Witchburn live last month for the first time at the same club Drop Six played it's farewell show, El Corazon. Seattle rock music fans were quite pleased to learn the core of the band would continue on in a new project. Drop Six, played its final show earlier this year at El Corazon in Seattle to a huge crowd. Witcbburn consists most of the members of Drop Six with the addition of the lead singer for the AC/DC all female tribute band Helle's Belles, Jamie Nova. The proof came in the form of a face melting show last night at El Corazon. Northwest metal is alive and well, and ready to kick your (bleep) ass. "3 Inches of Blood, Akimbo, Hell Promise, I Am the Thorn, Witchburn - JEl Corazon"īetter Than: Trying to stay true to old school metal by listening to the scratched copy of Judas Priest's British Steel that you stole from your dad in junior high.
